A mammogram is an x-ray of the breast tissue. This test is done to look for signs of breast cancer and can also be used to look at the breast tissue if there is a problem or concern identified. While a mammogram can’t prove that an abnormal area is cancer, they can greatly assist in helping the health care provider determine whether more testing is needed. We know that this is the single most effective way to screen for the early detection of precancerous or cancerous cells.
If you’ve been advised by your provider that you should consider having this test done, please link to one of the following locations to make an appointment, or contact our office 716-332-4476 so one of our dedicated staff members can help you.
